Okay, so I've been at the beach for four days now.
Today, we drove for about an hour and a half just to get ice cream.
And then we went to this huge, extremely familiar looking playground that was made entirely out of wood and thin sheets of metal. I kept having pangs of nostalgia and deja vu.
One of the funniest things about it was that there was one of those tic-tac-toe spinny things, except it had different letters of the alphabet on it. It was fun making awkward phrases like 'Hot Nip Man,' 'Zip Pat Lap,' and so on and so forth.
We noticed that there was a bay sort of thing there, so we walked over. It was beautiful, so we tried to get closer, but it was really muddy. We got in it anyway.
The first thing we noticed were these clear squishy things, and we thought they were jellyfish. They didn't have tentacles, so we picked them up. It was funny.
"Eww, it's so cute!" "Awww, it's disgusting!" "Gross, it broke. Poor baby."
It turned out they were egg cases, and we were majorly creeped out then.
I got pinched by crabs about twenty times trying to pick them up, but I ignored the pain. I think that ticked them off.
Me and one of my many little sisters found something that looked like this:
And we thought it was adorable, so we called to our mom saying, "Mom! Come here! It's a thingy!"
She didn't believe us for a second, so at the very moment she came over, the cute little guy went down a hole. Sea creatures are not fond of my mom.
Anyway, I'm about to go watch some sea turtles, so yeah.
